⭐ THE INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING REPORT

Presented from the Sports Desk by Ed & Gordon

(ROH • Stardom • wXw • NOAH • AJPW)

🟦 Ed opens the broadcast

“Fans, welcome back to the sports desk. We’re spanning the globe tonight — Ring of Honor in Jacksonville, Stardom’s Silver Week Tour in Hiroshima, wXw’s latest headlines out of Germany, NOAH’s N‑1 Victory storming through Japan, and All Japan’s Oudou Tournament shaking up the heavyweight landscape. Before we dive into the action, let’s hit the headlines shaping the week.”

⭐ HEADLINES

WBD moves closer to merger with Paramount

Warner Bros. Discovery — AEW’s broadcast partner — took another step toward a merger with Paramount after legal opposition was resolved. The move could reshape the media landscape and potentially affect AEW’s long‑term distribution strategy.

Mara Sadè signs with AEW

Mara Sadè is reportedly officially signed with AEW, with additional details confirming she’s expected to debut soon. AEW sees her as a fresh international standout with strong upside.

Franco Colombo passes away at 73

CMLL legend and longtime booker Franco Colombo died at age 73. His influence on Mexican wrestling — especially talent development and booking philosophy — leaves a lasting legacy.

Gordon: “Major corporate moves, a rising star joining AEW, and the loss of a respected architect of lucha libre — that’s the emotional backdrop for this week’s global wrestling scene.”

⭐ RING OF HONOR — HonorClub (Sept 17, 2026)

🟦 Ed:

“ROH came in swinging this week — championships defended, tag teams clashing, and a main event that had the crowd roaring.”

ROH Women’s TV Championship

Red Velvet (c) def. Remi Reade A technical sprint — counters, armdrags, and rapid‑fire pins early. Remi nearly stole it with a Michinoku Driver, but Velvet’s spinning kick sealed the defense.

Nick Wayne def. Adam Priest

Wayne targeted Priest’s arm relentlessly. Priest fired back with a superplex and single‑leg crab, but Wayne used the ropes to injure Priest’s arm and hit the Prodigy‑Plex.

Deonna Purrazzo & Emi Sakura def. Allysin Kay & Marti Belle

Deonna survived early isolation, Sakura stormed in with heavy offense, and dual Fujiwara armbars forced the submission. Sakura attacked Deonna afterward, signaling a title challenge.

The Kingdom & Bryan Keith def. SkyFlight

Phones, AI jokes, and chaos — Keith stole the win with a tiger bomb after SkyFlight’s momentum surged.

Dark Order interview segment

Uno, Reynolds, and Silver discussed family, forgiveness, and the Preston Vance situation. Silver walked out, frustrated.

Isla Dawn def. Robyn Renegade

A grinding match ending with Isla’s Dragon Sleeper.

Queen Aminata & Mina Shirakawa def. Dream Girl Ellie & Xanti Li

Aminata’s power and Mina’s precision carried the match, ending with Mina’s figure‑four.

Shane Taylor Promotions def. Solo, Garrison & Comoroto

Taylor dominated, Miles hit a neckbreaker variation, and STP closed strong.

Satnam Singh def. Matt Mako

Satnam absorbed leg attacks and finished with a pop‑up cutter.

Bandido & Komander def. A.R. Fox & Soleil

A spectacular main event — flips, counters, dives, and creativity everywhere. Bandido hit the 21‑Plex to close a show‑stealing bout.

Gordon: “ROH delivered variety — technical wrestling, high‑flying, and character drama all in one night.”
