wXw (Westside Xtreme Wrestling)

NEWS

Credit: Fightful

“They (wXw) wrote the following under one of their Instagram posts, where a fan asked if their True Colors event would air on TrillerTV.

“We would very much like to stream on Triller. Unfortunately they haven’t paid us for anything we streamed there since October and haven’t responded to any emails since they laid off our person in charge. We are unable to stream on a service that doesn’t pay its contributors.”

Fans can read more about AEW’s lawsuit by clicking here.”

Ed: “wXw keeps that European pressure‑cooker vibe—small buildings, loud fans, and matches that feel like they matter even when there’s no belt on the line.”

Gordon: “Continuity is their hallmark. Each taping adds incremental weight to existing rivalries rather than resetting the board.”

Desk outro

Ed: “So if you zoom out on this past week, here’s the picture: ROH just ran a marathon taping where every champion had to prove their mettle; Stardom had a BIG show; and AEW’s Double or Nothing was the next big explosion on the calendar.”

🔥 AEW DYNAMITE — APRIL 1, 2026

FULL MATCH RESULTS & HIGHLIGHTS

Chris Jericho Returns to AEW

The show opened with a major surprise as Chris Jericho made his return, declaring to the crowd, “I’m home.” A huge reaction, a major moment, and a clear signal that Jericho remains a central figure in AEW’s future.

Ed: “Fans, that building nearly came unglued!”

📝 Contract Signing: MJF vs. Kenny Omega (Dynasty)

  • MJF and Omega signed the contract for their upcoming AEW World Championship match at Dynasty.
  • Omega delivered a passionate speech about reclaiming the title.
  • MJF fired back with a brutal verbal assault, referencing Omega’s diverticulitis and claiming he was “one gust of wind away from retirement.”
  • Mike Bailey stepped in, setting up a match later in the night.

Gordon: “A most personal exchange — verbal warfare at its sharpest.”

🥇 MATCH RESULTS

Kenny Omega, Brody King & Jack Perry def. The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona)

📰 AEW NEWS & RUMORS

Jericho Staying in AEW

Despite months of speculation about a WWE return, Jericho is confirmed to be staying with AEW. Jericho was missing since disbanding The Learning Tree stable the night after he lost the ROH World title to Bandido in April of last year. AEW had extended his contract while he was away. It’s believed that Jericho and AEW came to an agreement on a new contract leading to his return. One advantage signing with AEW over WWE has is that Jericho will be able to continue pursuing outside projects. (According to Bleacher Report) WWE wanted him to sign for a retirement tour. (According to ITRWrestling.com)

⭐ Eric Bischoff weighs in on Ricochet

“Ricochet is not the smartest, brightest bulb on the tree, so to speak. That was a stupid thing to do. I think his excuse was, ‘Oh I was in character.’ No, I just think it was poor judgment, that he tried to camouflage by talking about the fact that he was in character when he did it as opposed to just saying, ‘I’m sorry.’ He should have just said, ‘I’m sorry’ and not try to make an excuse for it. Whatever, he did apologize, that’s what matters. We all move on.” (According to ITRWrestling.com)

Omega Touts AEW’s Affordable Prices

“We’re sort of like the alternative. We’re not quite WWE, and we’re not an indie either. We’re just All Elite Wrestling.

What we try to be is the most fun live show that you can watch, available to you. And I do think that for family-friendly shows, mostly family-friendly, the ticket prices are absolutely friendly. We never skimp on the content. You’ll always get a ton of wrestling for your money’s worth.

I even think we’re getting a double taping as well in Winnipeg, so you’re getting a whole lot of AEW, and you’re not having to mortgage your house or sell off your first child. That’s not even a knock on any promotion, it’s just that if you want to check out a television product, see yourself on TV, and have fun, see what makes AEW special, you can do it at an affordable price.

And I’m just really glad that if there’s any interest whatsoever, whether you’re a diehard AEW fan or you just want to check out a night of wrestling and do something fun with family or friends, there are price point options available for all walks of life. That’s one thing I’m very proud of with AEW.” (As seen on CBC News Manitoba)

🎙️ DESK OUTRO

Ed: “Fans, AEW is firing on all cylinders heading into Dynasty — returns, rivalries, and some of the hardest‑hitting action anywhere!”

Gordon: “Indeed. A most compelling week in All Elite Wrestling. And with that… so long from Winnipeg!”
