🟥 WHAT’S HAPPENING IN AEW

AEW rolled out two major broadcasts this week:

  • Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster on June 10
  • Collision: Summer Blockbuster on June 13

Dynamite saw Swerve Strickland advance to the Owen Cup Finals, Jon Moxley retain the Continental Title, and Andrade El Idolo defeat Orange Cassidy. Collision followed with Omega’s in‑ring return, a TNT Title defense, Survival of the Fittest qualifiers, and a wild Cincinnati Street Fight.

⭐ Kenny Omega def. Bad Dude Tito

The winner of the July 1 match will be crowned the new TBS Champion.

Fast‑paced double‑team offense from Wentz & Xavier sealed the win.

“[After defending the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage, Kenny Omega is joined in the ring by the rest of the Elite, who proceed to beat down Cage. As Jurassic Express join the brawl to defend Cage, Omega requests a microphone from a ringside worker]

Kenny Omega: “Are you finally starting to understand, Chicago? ‘Best in the World’ this, ‘Best in the World’ that, I don’t care if you have hometown heroes. I don’t care when you came from. No-one is on my level! Absolutely no-one. I’ve proven day-in, day-out, month-in, month-out, year-in, year-out, and it doesn’t matter where I go! But one thing’s for sure, when it comes to this AEW belt, the only people that would ever have a chance to beat me, EVER, are either not here, they’re already retired, or they are already dead.”

[The lights go out, before being switched back on as Adam Cole makes his AEW debut to a massive ovation. Once he gets in the ring, he stares down Omega, before delivering a superkick to “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and embracing the Elite]

Kenny Omega: “In the words of the almighty Steve Urkel, ‘did I do that?’ You really believed him, didn’t you? You really thought I was scared? This guy’s one of our best friends! Tell ’em, Adam!”

Adam Cole: “Who’s ready for storytime with Adam Cole, bay bay? Boys and girls, it’s official: the Elite is the most dominant faction in the history of this business! And ain’t no chance in hell nobody’s gonna stop us! [he hands the mic back to Omega]”

Kenny Omega: “Now that’s what I call a happy ending. So really, the only thing I’ve got left to do is what I do best, and that’s send the crowd home happy. So without any further adieu, I must bid you goodbye — [he makes the finger-kissing motion] — and goodni–“

[Omega is drowned out by Bryan Danielson’s theme, as he also makes his AEW debut. He stares down Omega, who flees from the ring, as the remainder of the Elite brawl with Cage, Jurassic Express, and Danielson. After winning the brawl, the babyfaces celebrate in the ring as the Elite watch on from the ramp]”

  • Omega declared himself untouchable.
  • Adam Cole made his AEW debut moments later.
  • Bryan Danielson debuted immediately after, confronting Omega.

Ed: “That line still echoes like a thunderclap — Omega standing tall, the Elite united, and the whole wrestling world holding its breath!”

Gordon: “A most pivotal moment — one that reshaped AEW’s competitive hierarchy for years to follow.”

🎙️ DESK OUTRO

Ed: “Fans, AEW is firing on all cylinders — Collision was a runaway freight train, Dynamite set the stage, and Forbidden Door is shaping up to be an absolute barnburner!”
